29th ALS Ride For Life Benefit
The Annual ALS Ride for Life Honoree Recognition Benefit will be held on Wednesday, April 29th at The Larkfield in East Northport. In memory of Chris Pendergast, our colleague who did so much for ALS Ride for Life, it is the tradition of the Retired-United Teachers of Northport purchase a full-page ad for the Benefit Journal. Sad News
Karen Gilmartin, retired Dickinson Avenue and East Northport Middle School Teacing Assistant, passed away on January 18. Karen is survived by her husband Thomas, son Patrick and daughter Jennifer, brother Thomas and sister Camille Furnari.
Visitation Friday, January 23, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Brueggemann Funeral Home in East Northport. Funeral mass on Saturday, January 24, 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in East Northport.
