Sad News

Kitty Zenkus, retired Northport High School clerical for 32 years, passed away on January 10th, at the age of 92. Kitty was predeceased by her husband John and is survived by her sons John and Anthony. Kitty was an important member of the high school clerical team, and for years she was the person who made sure student schedules work!

A funeral mass was held for Kitty at St. Phillip of Neri Church, followed by burial at the St. Phillip of Neri Cemetery in East Northport. Her family has asked that donations in Kitty’s name be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

The United Teachers of Northport are endorsing incumbent board member Victoria Buscareno and retiring Pulaski Road elementary teacher Carol Taylor.
