Miracle on 34th Street

The Larkfield Unit of the Huntington Senior Club is providing the R-UTN with four reduced-price tickets for the Saturday, November 21th matinee (3 pm) performance of Miracle on 34th Street, The Musical, at the Engeman Theater in Northport. The tickets, priced at $55 per ticket, are $69 at the box office.

Identity Theft Is Scary

A presentation on protecting your personal information and reducing your risk of identity theft will be held 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 29th, at the Huntington Senior Center, 423 Park Avenue, Huntington.

Topics: keeping personal information secure on and off line;  protecting social security numbers; keeping electronic devices secure.  All are welcome.

Document shredding will take place on the same day at the Senior Center from 11:00 am  to 3 pm.  Bring sensitive documents and watch them be shredded.

Senior Tuesdays at the Museum

The Long Island Museum (formerly the Carriage House) in Stony Brook offers  free admission to seniors on selected Tuesdays from 10 am to noon.    The current exhibit — Gilding the Coasts: Art and Design of Long Island’s Great Estates — is on display in the visitor’s center Tuesday October 13th.
