Still waiting for your stimulus check?
The federal government is sending coronavirus stimulus checks — called Economic Impact Payments (EIPs) — by prepaid debit card through the mail to around 4 million Americans who don’t have direct deposit information on file with the IRS.
If you are one of the 4 million the stimulus will delivered by the US Post Office! The card with a Visa logo will come in a plain envelope from “Money Network Cardholder Services.” The name of the issuing bank, MetaBank, will appear on the back of the card. For more information go to IRS.gov or call 1-800-240-8100.
Time out for a laugh!

TWELVE COMMANDMENTS FOR SENIORS
#1 – Talk to yourself. There are times you need expert advice.
#2 – “In Style” are the clothes that still fit.
#3 – You don’t need anger management. You need people to stop pissing you off.
#4 – Your people skills are just fine. It’s your tolerance for idiots that needs work.
#5 – The biggest lie you tell yourself is, “I don’t need to write that down. I’ll remember it.”
#6 – “On time” is when you get there.
#7 – Even duct tape can’t fix stupid – but it sure does muffle the sound.
#8 – It would be wonderful if we could put ourselves in the dryer for ten minutes, then come out wrinkle- free and three sizes smaller?
#9 – Lately, you’ve noticed people your age are so much older than you.
#10 – Growing old should have taken longer.
#11 – Aging has slowed you down, but it hasn’t shut you up. #12 – You still haven’t learned to act your age and hope you never will.
And one more:
“One for the road” means peeing before you leave the house.
NYS Election Updates
The Presidential Primary in NY has been cancelled. The only people voting in NY on June 23 will be those who live in a district where there is a state or congressional primary. They will be mailed absentee ballot applications or have the option of “in person” voting. So far, the school budget and school board elections have not been scheduled. We will continue to keep are members posted as development unfold.
Meanwhile, you can still request an absentee ballot to have in the event that the rules for submitting them are subsequently amended for the general election in November.
