The New York State Alliance for Retired Americans is not a senior citizens social club and it is not an organization formed to sell you things. It is a way for retired union members and others to make their voices heard on issues important to them. On September 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the NYSARA Long Island Chapter will be hosting a conference titled Challenges Facing Seniors Under the New Politics. Featured will be Barry Kaufmann, President of NYSARA, and speakers who will discourse on Social Security and Medicare.
